make: Run `go fix` on `make fmt`

make: Run `go fix` on `make fmt`

The `fmt` make target does some auto-formatting (gofmt, black) and
vetting (go vet); this patch makes it include go fix too, to help us
keep the codebase updated to modern features and standards.
